Radja Nainggolan Refuses to Rule Out AS Roma Exit Amid Chelsea Links

AS Roma's star midfielder Radja Nainggolan has refused to be rule out an exit from the club next season, claiming that he is happy at the club, but cannot say what will happen in the future.


The 28-year-old who has been in brilliant form this season has been constantly linked to Premier League side Chelsea, with manager Antonio Conte a big fan of the midfielder. The Belgium has a contract with Roma till 2020, but has refused to rule out an exit from Rome in the future.

"We have just passed the first half of the season and you are talking to me about the transfer market already?"I think I am doing well as I have always tried to do.Then this [contract extension] is a thing that we have to review in the future",Nainggolan said, asquoted by calciomercato.


"Here I am happy, I like to play for this club, but these are things that we will see later on."

The Belgian signed an contract extension with the club just last year but with him not being given a pay rise that was promised, he might just be tempted to move to greener pastures next season.


Nainggolan has been the backbone of the Roma side this season, contributing immensely in midfield. The 28-year-old has scored 12 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions this season, also registering three assists.
