Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer scores in Hamburger SV big win over Hannover 96

Ghana winger, Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer was on the scoresheet as Hamburger SV recorded a massive win over Hannover 96 in the German Bundesliga II on Saturday.

Königsdörffer made a cameo and scored at the Volkspark Stadion.

Hamburger SV ended the first half with a 2-0 courtesy goal from Sonny Kitte and Laszlo Benes in the 34th and 41st minute respectively before Derrick Kohn pulled one back for the visitors.

Laszlo Benes restored the two-goal lead for the home side after brilliantly converting a spot-kick awarded to them in the 61st minute. Four minutes later, Robert Glatzel made it 4-1 for Hamburger SV.

Yeboah Königsdörffer was introduced in the 70th minute as a replacement for Sonny Kittel and scored in the 76th minute.

The demolition exercise was sealed with Ludovit Reis' strike in the 87th minute.

The 21-year-old has notched 10 goals in twenty-six appearances for Hamburger SV this season so far.

He was named in Ghana's squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers against Angola in a back to back games but did not made an appearance.
