Ghanaian youngster Raphael Dwamena says been with the Black Stars for the first time was a dream come true.

The 18-year old surprisingly could not make coach Avram Grant's final 23 man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Dwamena in an exclusive interview with KingFut, he stated that he hold no grudges over his exclusion but was rather happy with his first taste of senior national team camp.

“Such a great experience!” Dwamena expressed. “Been great with the guys and they helped me a lot with ideas to improve my career. Our coach is such a great man with lots of ideas and how to face a game.”

Despite being excluded from the traveling squad, Dwamena is adamant that this would not be a set-back for him but rather a push as he aims to make the squad for Cameroon 2019.

“I was expecting to make it, but unfortunately I could not. I believe it is part of god’s plan for my life. I am still young with a lot of things ahead of me. I need to keep working harder.”
