Blau-Weiß Linz sporting Director, Timo Wawra has stated that Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena saw potential in the club and that is why a deal became possible.

Dwamena has made a permanent move to the Austrian second tier side after staying at home for six months as a free agent.

After the deal was completed, Wawra explained how it was done.

“I have a good relationship with his advisor, the ex-Dortmund professional and Swiss team player Philipp Degen," Timo Wawra, the Sporting director of Blau-Weiß Linz stated.

"That is why this commitment was possible. Here Raphael also saw that something is developing, and he now wants to follow this path with us in the long term. I am very proud that we were able to convince such a top striker to come to Linz," he concluded.
