Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila have entered an agreement to extend his contract by one year with Kuwait outfit Qadsia, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
Sumaila signed for the club in 2015 from Mamelodi Sundowns but was allowed to go out on loan on two occasions with the most recent one in Serbia for Crvena Zvezda.
Footballghana.com understands that the technical staff of the club played a key role in the agreement. The saw Sumaila as a key player and wanted him to extend.
The deal will be finalized at the end of the holidays in Kuwait which has been granted to help them fight the coronavirus pandemic.
