Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has arrived in Serbia to complete a deal to Red Star, according to local media reports.
Sumaila and his representatives are in Belgrade to finalise the deal which will see him make a switch from Kuwaiti side Al Gharafa.
Red Star are keen on signing the Ghanaian international after following his exploits in the last three years.
The centre-back will meet with the leaders at the "Marakana" before taking medical examinations and most likely sign a two-year contract.
The Ghanaian will be the first foreign player to be courted by the Serbian giants in this summer transfer window after they closely monitored his performances.
