Ghana and Azam FC goalie Razak Abalora has attributed his side's 3-0 win against Rhino Rangers in the Timu BoraBidhaa Bora on Monday to teammates tactical discipline.

According to the goalkeeper, instructions from the technical bench was the magic behind their sensational win over Rangers after losing painfully to their arch-rivals Simba FC in the Tanzania Premier league. Razak believes the win was needed to calm their teeming supporters and stick to their winning ways.

"Before this game, we lost to our arch rivals Simba FC which didn't go well with us and the fans so we needed such a big win like this to compensate them and also bounce back to our winning ways".

"Our form in the last five matches wasn't impressive, so the win was very crucial for both the players and the technical team. "But I must say the win was from the touchline. It did the magic to our perfection", he said in an exclusive interview with footballghana.com

The former WAFA shot-stopper, who has currently kept 14 clean sheets in 22 games applauded his teammates for their work cohesion in the game.

"I must also thank my teammates for a wonderful highly-rated character and work cohesion, especially the defence line partnering them has been good".

The 22-year-old joined Azam FC in the 2017/18 season from Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy (WAFA) after impressive performances in the past season.
