Ghana and Reading FC defender Andy Yiadom made an injury return over the weekend as he featured for his side's U-23 team in their 1-1 draw against Swansea City.
Yiadom, who has been ruled him out of action since early December due to an injury helped the team to go three points clear at the top of their Premier League Cup group.
He was replaced in the 68th minute of the game by Elva-Fountaine.
The 28-year-old returned to full training with the team but was unavailable for selection as the coach seeks to ease him back into the first team after long a spell on the sidelines.
The highly-rated right-back has featured in 18 championship games this season and scoring one goal for the Royals in the process.
He was a member of the Black Stars team that participated the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where they were eliminated at the round of 16 by Tunisia on penalties.
