Reading FC right-back, Andy Yiadom is set to face a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury last week against Derby County.
Veljko Paunovic side secured their second win in the 2020/2021 championship season after beating Barnsley 2-0 on Saturday.
Reading currently sit at the top of the table after the first two games but their good opening to the campaign has been wrecked by the injury of the Ghanaian defender.
The club’s manager confirmed Andy Yiadom’s injury.
"He has an injury in his knee which will keep him out for a considerable time.
"We're still trying to determine what is going to be the reach of his recovery. It was definitely a bummer for us." He said.
