Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos welcomed their 3-2 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

Ramos says the victory was a good "psychological boost" ahead of the Club World Cup.

"It was a very intense match, the first half hour we came out with a very big intensity, we went down and they took advantage of the chances they had, in the end we pushed to get the victory to finish the group stage, which is good for us psychologically," said Ramos.

"To win the Champions League you have to beat the best, so we'll see who we draw."

Ramos also spoke of Raphael Varane's injury, with the Frenchman being forced off during the game.

He added: "I think it's the bad news of the game, we're going to have another injury, we're having too many, the season is long and it's tougher to have everyone available."
