Real Madrid and Portugal defender Pepe has posted his tax returns on Instagram, having been implicated in the Football Leaks rumours which have been doing the rounds as of late.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho have both recently been accused of participating ina tax avoidance scheme, funneling well over £100m into offshore accounts in the Caribbean. And Pepe, who shares the same agent in Jorge Mendes, is said to have pushed at least £126m of his income into tax havens in the British Virgin Islands.
Well, the defender has come out swinging, and has attempted to clear his name by posting details of his financial affairs on Instagram, along with very stern messages.

In previous years I proceeded voluntarily and anticipating any request / intervention of the Tax Agency, to regulate my income for image rights due to the change of criteria of the Treasury in Spain.
