Real Madrid Legend Claims 3 Current Los Blancos Stars Can Match Messi at Dribbling With the Ball

Former Real Madrid midfielderGuti has said there are currently three Los Blancos players who are just as good as Barcelona's Lionel Messi when it comes to close ball control.

Messi wowed the world with a mazy dribble during Barcelona's recent 4-1 win over Espanyol in the final La Liga match before the winter break.

The Argentine somehow weaved his way pasta number ofopposition defenders and although he was unable to score with his attempt on goal, Luis Suarez was able to snap up the rebound before joining his teammates in marvelling at Messi's phenomenal ball control.

However, whilst the rest of the world continues to hail the Barcelona forward for his remarkable ball control, Real Madrid legend Guti has suggested there are many players capable of producing similar skill and unsurprisingly, named three players who currently play at the Bernabeu when he listed who he felt could match Messi's ability.

The 40-year-old, who made over 500 appearances for Real Madrid, said (as quoted by101greatgoals):It was a great player by a great player. But Neymar, Bale, Cristiano (Ronaldo) and Modric can do that as well.

Whilst all four men are undoubtedly top class players, they are perhaps stronger in other areas of the game rather than dribbling with the ball.

After seeing Cristiano Ronaldo crowned the 2016 Ballon d'Or winner, Messi is clearly already plotting his way back to winning the 2017 award and has made the perfect start with a dazzling performance that will live long in the memory for many of us - apart from Guti, perhaps.
