Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to hand Sergio Ramos a new contract.
The captain was an inspiration last season as Real won a historic LaLiga and Champions League Double.
Perez is willing to reward Ramos for his efforts with a contract upgrade, taking his base salary to €12 million, says Don Balon.
The new deal gives him parity with Gareth Bale - only Cristiano Ronaldo earns more.
The agreement will also add a further year to Ramos' existing contract.
