Real Madrid scramble as Man Utd offer to DOUBLE Kovacic wages

Manchester United are ready to pounce for wantaway Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Okdiario says Kovacic wants to leave Real this summer and has already informed directors of his intentions.

The midfielder can't see a regular start for himself at Real next season and despite coach Zinedine Zidane urging him to stay, Kovacic has made it clear his current thinking is to leave.

United boss Jose Mourinho is a fan and has asked former Real Madrid GM Pedja Mijatovic for his opinion on the midfielder.

The Premier League giants are so determined to prise Kovacic away from Madrid that they're prepared double his current salary.

However, Zidane and Real president Florentino Perez views Kovacic staying as a priority and are currently speaking with him to change his mind.
