Borussia Dortmund have come out fighting ahead of their crunch Champions League clash on Tuesday evening, mocking the reigning champions on social media over the weekend as they gear up for the group match.
Real failed to beat bothVillarreal and Las Palmas in La Liga last week, with the German side pointing out that both of the Spanish sides wore yellow - just as they will themselves at theSignal Iduna Park on Tuesday.
Gently mocking their opponents, the club's official account tweeted:"You're having a hard time playing teams that wear yellow, do you Real Madrid? [sic]" - posted in English and German, just in case anybody was in danger of missing the point.
Groupmates Sporting CP got in on the act too, replying that"[Real Madrid are struggling against] green as well!," adding "Best of luck to you both!"
The Portuguese club's attempt to get in on the joke fell a little flat though, having already lost to Zinedine Zidane's side once this season - with the Spaniards winning all of their games in the current campaign except the aforementioned draws with Villarreal and Las Palmas.
