Real Oviedo forward Samuel Obeng set to join Meteors ahead U23 Afcon

Ghanaian forward Samuel Obeng will play his last game this Sunday between Vetusta and Ibiza in the capital of the Principality until a few weeks later.

The striker will join the Black Meteors as they prepare for U23 Afcon in Egypt starting November 8.

The pre-Olympic for Tokyo 2020 tournament will be hosted in Egypt which has Ghana in group A, next to Egypt, Mali and Cameroon. The first phase will end on November 14 with the first two playing the semifinals on the 19th, the final and the match for third and fourth place on November 22.

The finalists and the third will participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games that will be played next summer.

The 22-year-old forward has made four appearances with one goal to his credit So far this season.

Obeng had won the game against Ibra in the first team, leaving from the bench against Albacete and entering the call against Girona.
