The Pride of the North has been in dismal form since their 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League early February.

As a result, the leadership of the club have taken a bold step to improve the team's fortunes by asking their head coach, Baba Nuhu Malam, to step aside.

The decision was taken following their 1-1 stalemate against Medeama in week 19 fixture at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Wednesday.

Mumin Abdulai, the assistant coach, has been appointed to take charge of the team for the foreseeable future.

The management reached this decision after conducting a thorough assessment of the team's performances and discussing it with the coaching staff.
