Real Tamale United's Baba Kushibo blames poor management for relegation from Ghana Premier League

Real Tamale United midfielder Baba Kushibo has attributed the club's relegation from the Ghana Premier League to poor management.

In an interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, Kushibo expressed his frustration over the team's handling of issues, particularly the recent boycott of their match against Dreams FC.

The boycott was a result of the players' protest over six months of unpaid salaries. According to a report by Nhyira FM, the players refused to travel with the team to Dawu for the scheduled match. Kushibo, in his interview, confirmed the incident and stated that it was not the first time such an issue had arisen.

"To cut everything short, it's about poor management from the start to the finish. People are not telling us the truth, and that was our demand," Kushibo said. He recalled a similar incident earlier in the season when the team traveled to Kpando around 11 to 12 am and arrived at the venue around 1:30 pm.

Real Tamale United has had a challenging season both on and off the pitch. The club's relegation from the top flight was confirmed before their final game of the season against Accra Great Olympics.
