Relegation Threatened Club Top Alternative Premier League Table (of Managers' Watch Prices!)

Published on: 28 December 2016

Football may have changed considerable over the last fifty years (just listen to yer da talk about the "good old days" for a few examples), but some things will remain forever; the smell of deep heat, opposition fans winding each other up, blaming the referee if your teamlose and - of course - managers moaning about how much injury time is really left.

But have you ever wondered how accurate the managers' time keeping is? Or even perhaps wondered what watch a coach is using to record the time? If you have (you absolute oddball), your prayers have been answered.

MailOnlinehave used their time wisely this week, creatinga league tableshowingthe cost ofeveryPremier League manager's watch, and the results are great newsfor Burnley fans.

Sitting top of the pile going into 2017 is none other than Burnley's Sean Dyche, the proud owner of Patek Phiippe 5990/1A.The watch in question costs a staggering £45,000 - you've really gotto hand it to him.

Following close behind Dyche, is Everton's Ronald Koeman who sports a stylish Rolex Sky-Dweller costing £38,850 -hopefully it (and he) can help keep Everton ticking this season.

However rooted at the bottom of the table is poor Bob Bradley, it really isn't his week. The American was spotted wearing a subpar Timex Ironman 100 Classic, costing just £40. No wonder he ran out of time at Swansea.

It goes without saying however, that it is a long season, managerscome and go, bringing with them differentstyles and watches. There is also the fear of losing watches and, of course, the dreaded water damage.

Throw into that the possibility of wives buying new and potentially cheaper watches for Christmas, and we really don't know how the table will finish at the end of the season.

All we know for sure is we are in for a topsy-turvy, dramatic ending to the campaign which could see anyone top the table. So Burnley fans - try not to count your chickens and we'll see where you are in May.
