Asante Kotoko's board of directors are set to meet on 1st July to discuss the latest issues the club face according to Kumasi-based radio station Light FM.
The club lost narrowly to arch rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend, leaving their title hopes hanging on a thread.
Also, their CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has been banned for five years by the GFA. Amponsah doubles as the Director of Division One League side Phar Rangers who were punished for pulling out of the league without a good reason.
It is expected that a decision will be made on the status of Nana Yaw Amponsah. Kotoko are currently second on the log, three points behind Hearts of Oak with three games to go.
