According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will find it very difficult to sign Memphis Depay due to the financial difficulties they face.

The Catalan giants have already agreed personal terms but are yet to make a concrete offer to Lyon for the player.
They recently sold Nelson Semedo to get some funds in but are going to spend chunk of it to attract young fullback Serginho Dest to the club this summer, putting a potential deal for Depay in doubt.

Lyon have also prepared a new contract for Depay and hope that he signs it.
Barcelona, however, are not looking to give up on the potential deal and are working to find a way of making it happen.
