Asante Kotoko are eager to bring former Hearts of Oak forward, Joseph Esso to the club according to reports.
It has also been reported that Ashanti Gold made the first move for Esso but Kotoko are hell bent on hijacking the transfer. Ashanti Gold are currently in talks with the player with no agreement reached at the moment.
Esso parted ways with the Phobians after his contract came to an end. He reportedly wanted an extension but he could not reach an agreement with the club on the monetary aspect.
Esso has come into the radar of Kotoko after the club's talks with Shafiu Mumuni failed to progress, reports have stated.
