Richard Arthur set to part ways with Asante Kotoko

Richard Arthur is set to leave Ghana Premier League Asante Kotoko ahead of the start of the new season, Footballghana.com can report.

The 26-year-old is reportedly on the verge of being released by the Porcupine Warriors following unconvincing performances since joining them after ending his stay with Ethiopian giants Saint Georges FC.

Arthur has failed to score or provided an assist for the Reds and this has become a major concern for coach Kjetil Zachariassen who is under pressure from fans after exiting the 2019 Caf Confederation

Richard Arthur played a key role as he helped Wa All Stars win the Ghana Premier League in 2016 for the first time in the club's history.

He has previously played for clubs in Angola and Ethiopia.
