Richard Boadu pens contract extension with Medeama SC

Medeama is delighted to announce that Richard Boadu has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until 2024, with an option to extend for a further year.

It’s been a remarkable breakthrough season for the defensive midfielder this season, clocking impressive numbers in the process.

Boadu has been a key member of the Mauve and Yellows and will continue to play a bigger part in the side’s campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight.

He will remain with the club until August 2024 after signing a fresh contract.

Richard Boadu said: It’s a real honour to continue to represent this amazing club and our incredible fans. I have not been here for many, many, years but proud to cal Tarkwa my home.

"I am looking forward to working with the coach and his great backroom staff.

Coach Samuel Boadu said: "Richard is one of the underrated midfielders in Ghana but soon people will get to know his immense talent."
