Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng has expressed his delight after resuming training with his Alcorcón teammates after the Coronavirus (Covid-19) break.

The various leagues in Spain have been put on hold since March as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus disease.

Following an improvement in the situation in the European country, football authorities have managed to convince the government to allow the football season to resume.

After successful talks, clubs in the Spanish La Liga and the lower tier have been given the green light to return to training.

Having had the privilege of training with his teammates at Alcorcón, Richard Boateng has shared his delight as he notes that it has been a lot of joy.

"It is something different. We are adapting to the measurements and the training and although it costs the equipment it is plugged in," Boateng said, in statements released by the club.

"We have had the opportunity to see each other again and be able to train together. We look very good and we are happy”, the Ghanaian said in a statement from his club.

The 27-year-old midfielder further revealed that the Covid-19 has made him cherish life more.

“Normal life is not what we had at home, but we had to live a different life than usual. I have learned a lot about how to appreciate life and take care of each one. The important thing is to have a family and take care of everyone”, he added.
