Ghanaian international, Richard Boateng has called on his Alcorcón AD teammates to play their heart out when they clash with Almeria later today in the Spanish Segunda B division

The two sides urgently need 3 points to better their positions on the Division standings for different reasons.

In a match week 11 fixture, Alcorcon will welcome Almeria at home in what promises to be a very difficult game looking at the form of the opponent.

Speaking in an interview ahead of the match, Richard Boateng has stressed on the need for his teammates to work extra hard to ensure they amass all 3 points at the end of the match.

He is hoping they make their home a fortress to ensure they pick as many points they can whenever they are playing in front of their own fans.

“The image we are giving out, we have to give it at home. We really want both the Club and the locker room. We want to score points at home. Sumar as local is very important”

“I want to help the team and I will try to contribute where the coach says”.

“We all work very hard to be well physically and mentally. I am no exception. You are working hard. I try to help the team at all times. I am a one-way player and return”, the midfielder said.

He added, Almeria is a great team. In this category every team is very complicated. Getting points is very complicated. We have to face Saturday's game as if it were the last. We have to get the goal to zero. We need it. We have to be very intense in this area and we train these aspects every day”.

The crucial match between Alcorcon and Almeria will kickoff at 14:00GMT later this afternoon.
