Newly Appointed head coach of Asante Kotoko, Kjetil Zachariassen has insisted he will not need Richard Djodi at his new club as he looked to introduce his philosophy at the club.
Zachariassen who worked with Richard Djodi at Ashanti Gold insisted the Ivorian doesn’t fit his system hence his decision not to move in for the player.
Zachariassen was confirmed as the head coach of Asante Kotoko after signing a three year contract with the club last Saturday at the club secrataraint.
“I will not ask the club to sign Richard Dodji at Kotoko because his style doesn’t fit my system”, he told Ashh fm.
Zachariassen has been tasked to lead the Porcupine Warriors to glory in next season’s CAF Champions League.
He replace Charles Kwabla Akonnor who has been elevated to Technical Director of the club.
