Richard Ella Dodji issues come-and-get-me plea to Asante Kotoko

Ivory Coast international Richard Ella Dodji has issued a come and get me plea coach C.K Akunnor after the club expressed interest of signing him.

The AshantiGold striker is on the radar of the44-year-old gaffer shopping list as he looks to augment his striking force ahead of the commencement of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The addition of the experienced goal poacher will add competition and proficiency upfront alongside the misfiring Sogne Yacouba

In an interview with Ashh FM, the Ivorian stated his eagerness to assist the Reds in their Africa campaign. "It is a very good opportunity for me so I'm waiting for Kotoko to come officially and I'm ever ready to play for Asante Kotoko." The club is a big team in Ghana and I love their supporters too," he said.

"Every player wants to play for Kotoko and I'm sure if I go to Kotoko, I will be able to break into the starting XI."

Dodji believes coach C.K Akunnor is one of the best coaches in the country and will him fulfill his full potential after working with him at the club before joining Kotoko.

"Charles Kwablan Akonnor is a big coach and I like his training regime because he pushes every player to be at the top so I will be very happy to work with him again".

The 28-year old is likely to be paired alongside Songne Yacouba upfront.
