Richmond Boakye Yiadom powers Red Star Belgrade to victory

Ghana goal poacher, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored his sixth goal of the season to power Red Star Belgrade to victory in the Serbian top-flight on Sunday.

The Serbian heavyweights record a 2-1 away win over FK Cukaricki at the Cukaricki Stadium.

El Fardou Ben opened score for Red Star Belgrade from the spot on the 24th minute before Luka Stojanovic levelled the score for the homesters on the 28th minute of the game.

However, on the 30th minute, the former Juventus ace snatched the match-winner for the Red and White lads to hand them all the needed points.

The 25-year-old lasted for the entire duration of the match with Samuel Owusu of Cukaricki.

Boakye-Yiadom has netted six goals in his ten appearances for the Serbian giants.
