Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah Larweh is poised for action as Çaykur Rizespor take on Istanbul Basakşehir in the Turkish Süper Lig on Friday.

Attamah is backing his teammates to focus on the game against his parent club Istanbul Basakşehir in their matchday six fixture.

Rizespor are presently 6th on the league table with eight points however, they've picked up two points in their last three games.

Speaking ahead of the game, the 25-year old says Rizespor won't be disrupted by their recent slump in form.

"We will play on Friday match, the loss of points we'll live without disrupting our morale," he said.

"Basakşehir to focus against the only thing we need to do, to achieve a good result. Against the same plan, I believe that we need to return.

"We just need to focus on our work. We must accept that the morale of these two matches is temporary. Our only goal as a team is to return from there," he added.

Attamah joined the club from Istanbul Basakşehir on a season-long loan with Rizespor having the option of making the deal a permanent one.

He has made five appearances for Rizespor so far in the Super Lig.
