Roma have approached Manchester United over a price for Matteo Darmian.
Darmian, who joined United from Torino in 2015, has been frequently linked with a return to his homeland since Jose Mourinho took charge at Old Trafford last summer.
And, according to Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri, he could be on the move to Roma.
Palmeri made the claim on Twitter and wrote: “Manchester United have been contacted by Roma for Darmian."
Darmian has two years left on his contract.
