Roma kick off the new year with a Coppa Italia Last 16 tie at home to giant killers Virtus Entella on Monday night.
The Giallorossi returned to form ahead of the winter break with back-to-back Serie A wins against Sassuolo and Parma and now have the chance to book a quarter-final clash with Fiorentina by beating their Serie C opponents.
However, Eusebio di Francesco’s side will be wary of Virtus after they stunned top-flight Genoa with a penalty shoot-out victory in the last round, having already knocked out Robur Siena and Salernitana.
This will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides.
