Ronaldo's Madrid Future Uncertain as Club President Left Unimpressed by Subdued Performances

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is said to have become increasingly concerned over Cristiano Ronaldo's subdued performances for the club.

Ronaldo salvaged a late draw for Los Blancos in Wednesday's eventual 3-3 draw with Las Palmas - Los Blancos having been on the cusp of a shock 3-1 defeat following Gareth Bale's sending off - but the striker's form is believed to have left Perez wondering about the 32-year-old's future with the La Liga giants.

Diaria Gol has reported that Perez has conceded to close confidantes that Ronaldo may have reached the pinnacle of his powers, and will only begin to regress now that the peak of his playing career has come and gone, despite his knack of consistently scoring goals for club and country.

Ronaldo was left frustrated by his side's display against Las Palmas before his late brace prevented the reigning Champions League winners from falling two points behind league leaders Barcelona, and his own performance did little to appease Perez who watched on from the stands.

Goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who is believed to be heading for the Real exit door at the end of the season, and club captain Sergio Ramos also apparently drew stinging criticism from the 69-year-old once the final whistle was blown at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo had been riding the crest of a wave after he had led Portugal to their first ever international trophy at last summer's Euro 2016 tournament in France.

Anyone remember the last time it wasn't Cristiano Ronaldo FC?
Can't recall in all honesty

The forward's strike rate of 51 goals in just 48 matches last term also led to him being crowned the 2016 Ballon d'Or winner at the end of last year.

Despite plundering 25 goals in 31 games this season and helping Real compete for both the La Liga crown and attempt to defend their Champions League trophy, however, Ronaldo has not looked the same player throughout 2016/17, according to Perez, and it remains to be seen if the ex-Manchester United star is in Zinedine Zidane's long term plans in Spain.
