Former Black Stars player, Hamza Mohammed, has stated that Real Tamale United has problems and believes that they should adjust to the modern game and allow for investments.
In the years past, RTU was playing in the Ghana Premier League but were relegated due to poor performances and is currently in the Division One League.
When he was asked about it, Hamza, who is currently the boss of Tamale City, stated the need for investment in the club.
“I feel very bad to be honest [about RTU now]. They all know I am RTU first before anything. Things have to change. People have to make way for others to come to develop the team. We have a lot of talents in RTU," he told Joy FM.
"We took it upon ourselves to join Tamale City at least to put RTU to be back where it was before and I think it is working. When we [Tamale City] beat RTU, I was very happy because I felt they needed to adjust to the modern game and allow for investment.”
