Astute Football Administrator, Salifu Shaibu Zida has received commendation in recognition of some achievement and his humanitarian nature to football related activies by Bolga North Circuit in the Upper East Region.

Zida, who has been in football over a decade, was honoured with a citation for his immersed support and dedication to Upper East Football and Ghana Football at large, having steered the Black Queens Management committee Vice-chairmanship role. He's recognition comes, as a sports personality who loves, care and is dedicated to anything football in the part of Ghana - Upper East.

"In recognition of your immerse support to sports in Upper East Region. You started as a player and rose to a team manager of Upper Stars in Bolga where you groomed players from Upper Stars Colts, Division 1 and 2 and finally the Premier Division respectively.

"Your Love for Sports in the region has made you so outstanding and not surprise you rose to become the Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairman for three consecutive times.

You single handedly organised and managed the Zida Tournament for ten(10) years to unearth and develop talents of young men and women in the region hence breaking the gins by qualifying Bolga All stars to the National Premier Division which is the first in the history of our Region.

Mentioned must be made on your effort in helping young men women realize their talents at the National level.At the grass root, you did not hesitate when Bolga North Circuit called on you for support in the areas of Jersey, footballs and other sporting gears.

Zida, may God richly bless you for your commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm towards Sports in general in Upper East Region", the Citation made in honor of Salifu Zida as a Sports Personality reads.

Salifu Zida took office as the chairman of the Upper East RFA in 2011 and during his era, Bolga Ghatel Ladies and Sharp Arrows both played in the Ghana National Women's League.

Bolga All Stars, a club he doubles as the owner benefited from his administrative prowess as they inked their name into Ghana football history books as the first team to gain qualification into the country's top-flight league from the region.
