'Salis Abdul Samed is an embodiment of joy in Lens team' - General Manager Arnaud Pouille

French Ligue 1 club, RC Lens, have officially extended the contract of Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis, prompting words of praise from General Manager Arnaud Pouille.

Salis, who joined Lens last summer from Clermont Foot on a five-year deal, had an impressive debut campaign with the club.

Recognizing his contributions to the team's success, the club hierarchy made the decision to prolong his contract for another year, ensuring his presence at the club until 2028.

In a statement, General Manager Arnaud Pouille expressed his enthusiasm about the contract extension and highlighted Salis' significance to the team both in terms of performance and attitude.

Pouille commended the 23-year-old's emergence as a top-level player, his notable performances in the World Cup with Ghana, and his consistency throughout the season.

"We are starting this summer transfer window with the extension of a key player in the collective, in terms of performance and state of mind, Salis Abdul Samed," stated Pouille.
