Sam Arday goes home today

Late Ghanaian coach Sam Arday will be laid to rest on Friday, April 7 with other funeral rites scheduled for the weekend.

Memorial and Funeral Service for the late coach would be held today(Thursday) at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Osu,in Accra.

Burial would take place at the Osu Cemetary the following day as well as Thanksgiving Service at the Fore Court of the State House.

Final Thanksgiving Service would be held on Sunday, April 9 at the St. Peters Catholic Church. The attire is Black and White.

Government officials, former and present footballers and individuals in the sporting fraternity are expected to attend the funeral of the illustrious coach.

Coach Ardey popularly known as the Multi System Man died in February after battling illness.

Ardey until his demise was working as the Technical Director for Ghana Premier League side WAFA and also managed Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

The veteran Coach also won bronze with the Ghana U23 team at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and guided the Black Starlets team to win the FIFA World Cup in 1995.
