Former Ghana and former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour has called on the Ghana Football Association to put in much effort into the Premier League to make it more attractive.

The respected football pundit in an interview with Accra based Citi FM, Sammy surprisingly revealed that he had not been to a Ghanaian stadium in years due to the low quality and the patronage of the League.

“Well for now I haven’t been in the stadium because sometimes it’s not about who you are going to watch but how the whole game is organized,” Kuffour said.

“I was watching a game on TV Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, I was very impressed with the crowd but I wasn’t impressed with the game itself.”

“Because the quality of the game in my view was a little bit less and then those days you use to see Shamo Quaye and Joe Debrah, that’s rivalry but it’s no more there because you can’t find anyone with such quality.” He added.
