In the matchday 27 games, the Phobians were hosted at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday.

Hafiz Konkoni converted a spot kick as the home side recorded a 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak.

However, speaking after the game, Inkoom beleives the match officials had their decision wrong in awarding the penalty.

According to him, such decisions mud the top flight.

"The infringement was not close to a penalty," he told the press after the game.

"If we want the Ghana Premier League to be exciting, referees must stop making such decisions.

"It's sad because that was never a penalty," he added.

Hearts of Oak now sit 5th on the league log with 42 points and will hope to return to winning ways when they play Tamale City in the matchday 28 games at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Wednesday.
