Al-Fayha winger Samuel Owusu has insisted that his team delivered a beautiful performance despite falling to a 1-0 defeat to Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal.

The win proved pivotal to Al-Hilal, moving them six points clear from second place Al-Nasr whilst Al-Fayha sit on 11th place with 21 points.

The 23 year old admitted that the level fell in the last half albeit they played well against the league leaders.

"We played a beautiful match against the leader of Asia in the first half, but the level fell in the second half, which affected us and the result," he said after the game.

He also added that his team's defensive focus affected their attack but promised the fans to improve.

"We did not attack in a good way, because of our focus on defense, but we promise the fans to provide the required level in the upcoming matches".

Samuel has played 16 games in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Fayha this season and scored 4 goals.
