Ghanaian international Samuel Tetteh was in action on Saturday evening to help his LASK Linz side post a 2-1 win over Hartberg in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The striker who recently recovered from an injury was introduced in the second half when his side was trailing by a goal to nil.

A 55th-minute strike from Tomas Ostrak had given Hartberg the lead and well on their way to bagging all 3 points.

The introduction of Tetteh, however, completed changed the game and tweaked the balance in favour of LASK Linz.

Just four minutes after coming on, his precise pass found Reinhold Ranftl who fired his shot into the back of the net to restore parity for the away side.

That goal boosted the confidence of Linz who scored a second on the 69th minute to ensure they run away as 2-1 winners.

Samuel Tetteh, 23, impressed throughout his stay on the pitch and was key to his side’s victory on the day.

He is expected to be given a start when the Austrian Bundesliga returns from the international break.
