Sarfo Taylor: The death of Senator Cobbinah Brigidi has cost a lot

Solomon Sarfo Taylor, skipper of Nzema based premiership outfit, Karela United FC has disclosed that the death of club chief executive officer (CEO) Senator Cobbinah Brigidi really affected the players.

According to the former Sekondi Hassacas playmaker, a team owned and managed solely by one person, puts things in disarray when he's not around.For three months, no player of the club has been paid salary which is affecting the playing body since that's the only source of their income.

"Yeah, the lost of our CEO has really affected the entire playing body"Because the club was solely managed by Senator Cobbinah Brigidi and his absence puts a lot of things in disarray".

"Brigidi at the end of every month or a day after month will ensure he settles every player his monthly take home salary", he told Footballghana.com

The young goal poacher added that, management of the club has assured them of appointing new CEO for the club after a successful burial of the Lawyer.Appointment that will highlight the direction of the club going forward in the country's topflight.

"We're waiting for the appointment of a new club owner to know where the fate lies for us[players]" For now we are ignorant who pays our winning bonuses and stuff".

"We are praying for a better personality to secure the position, we were informed to keep calm till our dearest sees a befitting burial".

Metro FC was renamed Karela United FC after Nigerian Senator had purchased it in the division. After few years in the second tier led the team to a historic premiership derby.Brigidi had several companies both in Ghana and Nigeria.

Karela United FC were placed fourth in the truncated 2017/18 Ghana premier league season, marking their derby.
