Sassuolo to decide KP Boateng’s future this weekend – Club director reveals

Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevalli has revealed that he will meet with coach for the side Roberto De Zerbi to deliberate on the future of Ghanaian International Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The former AC Milan star is reportedly interested in a move away from the club after returning from a loan spell from Spanish giant FC Barcelona which didn’t go very well.

Several transfer speculations have linked the attacker with a move away from the club whiles indicating that a number of teams have already started negotiations with Sassuolo to secure his services.

Speaking in a recent interview, however, Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevalli has shared that there have been limited offers for the player but he will be meeting with the club’s head coach this weekend to discuss his plans.

“There have been timid show of interest by clubs in Kevin-Prince Boateng, I will meet the coach this week and see what his plans are”.

“A couple of players will move this summer and probably Khouma Babacar will also go”, Carnevalli told the Italian press.

Kevin-Prince Boateng has joined his teammates for pre-season training as they gear up towards the start of the 2019/2020 campaign.
