Sassuolo host Genoa at the Mapei Stadium with both sides wanting to give consistency to their great start to the 2018/19 Serie A season.
The hosts beat Inter in Round 1, then got a last minute draw away to Cagliari, whilst the Grifone beat Empoli in their opening game, after the first scheduled match against AC Milan was postponed due to the tragedy of the Ponte Morandi in Genoa.
Backed up by the great results so far, Roberto De Zerbi and Davide Ballardini confirm most of the men that got the wins in the first games, but there’s a few new faces in the starting lineups.
Leading the line for Sassuolo is Khouma Babacar, with Kevin Prince Boateng and Domenico Berardi – who scored two goals in the first two games – either side of him.
Genoa respond with Krzysztof Piatek and Christian Kouamé up front, both coming from their first Serie A goal last week.
