Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka has not yet started talks over a contract extension at the VELTINS Arena.
Leon Goretzka is one of the most promising young talents in German football at the moment and the 22-year-old has been attracting the interest from the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool in recent times.
Now in encouraging news for Arsenal and Liverpool, Goretzka has gone on to reveal that he has not yet started talks of a contract extension at Schalke and it is very likely that the midfielder will leave the Bundesliga outfit this summer as his current deal expires in 2018.
Goretzka told the Bild: "I think he has made his position relatively clear, but I cannot say any more, so far we have not held any intensive talks."
