Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp will be given an extended run in the Crsystal Palace first team following persistent injury troubles for first choice left back Patrick van Aanholt.
Van Aanholt will again be absent for Crystal Palace when they visit Premier League leaders Chelsea on Saturday.
The Dutchman is recovering from an ankle injury and his continued absence suggests that fellow January arrival Jeffrey Schlupp could deputise.
Van Aanholt could be joined in watching from the stands by Fraizer Campbell, who has a knock, and James McArthur, who is suffering from back spasms.
However, Mathieu Flamini could be available having returned to training, although Connor Wickham and Pape Souare remain long-term absentees.
Palace head into the game at Stamford Bridge having won on their last three outings, keeping clean sheets on all three of those occasions, a run that has helped move them up to 16th in the Premier League standings.
