Hollywood starsand footballers often strike up unlikely friendships, despite the fact they're from very different worlds:
For example, actresses are knownfor being drama queens who earn far too much money, while footballers...
Actually, come to think of it:
Maybe they're not so different after all.
As reported byESPN FC, the aforementionedlist of 'unlikely alliances' was added to over the weekend when Paul Pogba uploaded a picture to his Instagram -depicting him and Oscar winner Julia Roberts in an affectionate clinch, the star of such films as 'Pretty Woman' and 'My Best Friend's Wedding' attended Manchester United's draw against West Ham on Sunday as a VIP guest.
After taking a tour of United's hallowed stadium, she settled down to watch the match itself, which of course ended in a 1-1 draw.
Evidently, United's recent French mega-signingfound some time after the game to catch-upwiththe legendary Hollywood star, immortalising their meeting in a cheeky photo andcaptioning the pic as follows:
"Today I met not only a great actress but also a wonderful woman, who's lucky now?! #prettywoman #juliaroberts #blessed"
Moving onto footballing matters, Pogba recorded his first assist in the Premier League this season when his astute long ball was latched onto by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who headed home and brought United level.
Alas, that was to prove the Red Devils'only truly decisive moment of the match, as they continue to flatter to deceive in front of the Old Trafford faithful.
