Sekondi Hasaacas recorded their biggest ever income from gate proceeds in the Ghana Premier League during their week 26 game against Asante Kotoko at the Essipong Stadium last Sunday.
The Sekondi based side made a whopping amount of GHC 65,365.00, their biggest ever figure in this season’s campaign.
Spokesperson of the team Benjamin Quansah in an interview with a Sekondi based radio station Radio Silver confirmed the amount and noted that the club will seek to make good use of it.
“Hasaacas made a little over GHC 30,000.00 after deductions and it is the biggest ever I think.
“We have debt to settle, bonuses and monthly wages of players and staffs, which management have sort to settle the players in order to boost morale in our games ahead.
“We owe the players and that’s not a secret, we will take the opportunity to settle parts of the debts”.
