Adjei has five months left on his current deal he signed from Amiduas Professionals three years ago but will only extend his stay if assured more playing time.

In an exclusive interview with footballghana.com Adjei divulged his desire for more playing time.

"I played the first game of the season and it was not good. Since then i have been kept out without a second look" "My contract runs out in October and i am willing to extend my contract but only if i'm assured of more playing time."

Adjei's career at the capital-based club has been punctuated with recurrent injuries and will now have to battle in-form striker Cosmos Dauda, experienced Samuel Yeboah and Musa Ibrahim for a regular first team appearance.

Selasi Adjei has been left out of Hearts Of Oak's team set to play Hasaacas on Wednesday May 18 behind closed doors at the Accra Sports Stadium.
