Playing for AC Milan since 2018/19, Spanish wide midfielder and winger Samu Castillejo (turning 27 on January 18) might leave Rossoneri, on a loan spell at least, after three seasons and a half. To this end, former Villarreal player is growing into a major target for Genoa, out of manager Andriy Shevchenko's suggestion.
Still on a deal with Rossoneri until June 2023, Castillejo, purchased on a 21 million euros transfer fee back then, and now worth less than half that sum, was previously inquired about by both Getafe and Granada.
